Dunsborough Park offers 62 acres of landscaped splendour. Dating back to the fourteenth century, the estate has witnessed a fascinating history shaped by a range of characters and events to create unique charm and atmosphere within glorious surroundings.

A superb collection of antique garden art and ornaments, many originating from the gardens of the great European treasure houses, adds an exceptional grandeur and distinction to these beautiful gardens.

Enshrined in wisteria, and guarded by elegant topiary peacocks, Dunsborough House dates back to 1630. Over the years a number of extensions and ‘modernisations’ have been carried out by various owners to create a most unusual and spacious residence. At the rear of the house an extensive range of attractive red tiled outbuildings surround the large courtyard.

Dunsborough’s elaborate Tudor gatehouse, designed by W Braxton Sinclair, was built in 1939. This very unusual design incorporates four small dwellings surrounding a courtyard. The building leads directly to the delightful avenue of horsechestnut trees.
